After astounding success, taking the MP3 player market by storm, the iPod series have trounced any competitors that even got close to its crown. Sure Creative, Sony and Microsoft have attempted to wrestle sales from Apple’s signature device, but they never really offered enough quality, never mind style, to match the iPod.

With Apple’s ‘The Beat Goes On’ event, the entire family got a sprucing up and put all competitors further into the shadow.
