Shot larking about then treated to a technicolour makeover in post-production, Wild Beasts’ video for new single Mecca superimposes the band on top of a number of stylised animations and videos. The third single to be taken from the band’s fourth album, Present Tense, what the music video lacks in narrative it makes up for in attention to detail, with a lot of nice touches in the frame-by-frame overlays in particular.
