It’s been a trend of late to shoot music videos with such high production values it looks like Wally Pfister or Roger Deakins was DOP. While Washed Out go down the nature documentary route, rather than a Hollywood blockbuster, you can tell the inspiration to shoot something so clean and crisp was there from the start. Featuring close-ups of animals, plant-life and phenomena from across the natural world, the energy and vibrance of the video brings a new life to band’s chillwave track. Directed by Kate Moross.
