Invited via Facebook and MySpace to be extras in their upcoming video, a heap of fans turned up to help Blood Red Shoes out for their next single, Heartsink. Shot in a dilapidated car park in South London, fans were asked to bring sentimental objects to smash/break/set on fire with the eventual debris including a vase with dead roses, computer monitor, pavlova, a Beatles book, guitars, a mannequin, a teddy bear and a freaky looking doll.  After a day of destruction there were 4 grazed knees, 2 cut noses, 3 cut fingers, approximately 26 sunburns and half a dozen inebriated people. Half of those were just us. Rock’n’roll. We’ll put the resulting music video up when Blood Red Shoes release it in a couple of weeks.
