Whether we liked it or not, Antichrist was always going to steal this month’s cover. The most controversial film in years, Antichrist garnered all the press, if not the awards, at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. With scenes of graphic sexual violence and a tormenting narrative only Lars von Trier could accomplish, critics are generally split down the middle declaring it either a masterpiece or an atrocity.
