There are three kinds of people in this world. Those who dearly want a Leica camera, those who own a Leica camera but dearly want another, and those who currently are unaware of Leica cameras, but should they be informed, would dearly want a Leica camera. It’s with gritted teeth therefore that we post an behind the scenes of their team hand-crafting a Leica M9-P Edition Hermès, for while breathtaking to watch, it just feeds our desire even more. Where Leica are concerned, labour of love isn’t even the half of it, though there’s an RRP to match too.

FAN THE FIRE is a digital magazine about lifestyle and creative culture. Launching back in 2005 as a digital publication about Sony’s PSP handheld games console, we’ve grown and evolved now covering the arts and lifestyle, architecture, design and travel.
