His first feature since 2009′s Where The Wild Thing Are, Her is Spike Jonze’s much anticipated return behind the camera. Set in the near future, the film stars Joaquin Phoenix, a complex soulful man who makes a living writing touching, personal letters for other people. Heartbroken after the break up of his own long term relationship, Theodore becomes intrigued by a new intelligent operating system, which promises to be an intuitive entity, individual to each user, and it’s not long before they start to form something that quickly resembles love. Released in prime Oscar season, Her hits theatres November 20th.
