DVD Review: Clubbed

Based on the autobiography of ex-bouncer Geoff Thompson, this violent tale of life in the ’80s club scene.

After being humiliated and beaten in front of his kids, factory worker Danny takes a job as a night club bouncer but before he knows it, becomes embroiled in the crime underworld that comes with the territory.

Sadly the plot is predictable and the film’s attempts to justify the ultra-violence fall significantly short and Clubbed just feels self indulgent.
