Fans of video game studio Level 5 have long been watching for news of Ni No Kuni, and at last, good news has come. The title developed alongside the legendary Studio Ghibli will receive an English language release at last, and while it’s still a long way off, one thing’s for sure, it’ll be worth the wait. Ni No Kuni follows a young boy who must travel through a magical parallel world with the help of a powerful spell book to find the spirit of his mother, who dies suddenly in the game’s opening. Out January 22nd, 2013 in the States and January 25th, 2013 in the UK.

From indie developer Broken Rules, Chasing Aurora is “an explorative 2D aerial action game about the dream of flight.” The game looks like a more gorgeous Tiny Wings with stunning graphics and a puzzle element. Out 2012.

Out now for Xbox LIVE Arcade, Polytronic’s Fez sees “a 2D man named Gomez on a voyage of discovery into the mysterious 3rd dimension.” Fez takes the familiar 2D platforming world and lets you discover what happens when you turn the corner. Paired with bright and imaginative graphics, Fez does so much with the concept of the hidden.

There are few games we get more excited about than a new Grand Theft Auto release, and set in San Andreas‘ Los Santos city, boasting stunning graphics and with the promise of a truly encapsulating story, it sure looks like the boys at Rockstar North have done it again. Release in sometime in 2012 can’t come soon enough. We want it now.
