It was a few weeks ago now, but there was no better way to spend the run up to Halloween than with the Jameson Cult Film Club. We’ve mentioned Jameson’s regular events a couple of times now, but they hit a peak at Halloween.

Putting on a range of horror films from £20 horror Colin to Dracula to, of course, the original Halloween. Hiring out the eerie Union Church in Islington, the venue and staff were kitted out as you’d expect, with actors roaming about the place raising hell as characters from the film on the evening.

Despite a couple of technical hitches, Dracula was a roaring success, and everyone got a garlic or two to fight off vampires on the way home. This Is Spinal Tap is the closing film of the year, though all the tickets have already been snapped up, while a reader’s choice film is set for next March.
