The second in the already meteoric vampire teen-focused series Twilight, developing the love triangle between Bella and Jacob and Edward. With Bella the centric character, Edward moves away from their home town, along with his family, in an attempt to bring her safety, but heartbroken she finds comfort in Jacob. After a miscommunication, Edward is then led to believe Bella committed suicide, so travels to Italy to provoke the powerful Vulturi to kill him, but will Bella be able to reach Edward in time to stop his unnecessary death.
