Its been a long time coming (for me at least), but finally the first of hopefully many juicy teases for Scott Pilgrim vs The World is out. All it really hints at is coolness, but this flick, directed by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) and starring Michael Cera (Arrested Development) and Mary Elizabeth Winestead (Death Proof). The source material is a witty little love / adventure cult comic adored by many, and if you would be so bold as to compare the above teaser poster with some of the art from the comic itself below, looks like Wright and Co are staying authentic. I am unashamedly excited for the franchise this could spawn and the wickedness Wright can get up to with a hollywood budget. Look for Scott Pilgrim and his band (Sex Bob-Omb) in August this year.
