Not premiering until 2014 and with no footage in the teaser, new show True Detective would barely constitute if it wasn’t for the very exciting cast. With Woody Harrelson and man-of-the-moment Matthew McConaughey playing two detectives on the trail of a Louisiana killer, with the former playing an emotional family man, and the latter a perpetual pessimist, all eight episodes of the first season will also be directed by Cary Fukunaga (Jane Eyre, Sin Nombre). True Detective will premiere on HBO in 2013.
