From Battlestar Galactica showrunner Ronald D. Moore, Helix follows a team of scientists from the Center for Disease Control as they head to a high-tech research facility in the Arctic to investigate reports of an outbreak. From gloopy, black blood to creatures lurking in the shadows, it’s fair to say the CDC team have bitten off more than they could chew, not least in mysterious facility head Dr. Hiroshi Hataki (Hiroyuki Sanada). Helix premieres Friday 10th January, 2014, on Syfy.
