J.J. Abrams returns to TV with sci-fi crime/drama ‘Almost Human’

Starring Karl Urban as a snarling cop who’s not so thrilled to be paired with a lifelike, synthetic partner (Michael Ealy), the show is executive produced by J.J. Abrams alongside Fringe showrunner J.H. Wyman. Tasked with investigating a cover-up in the futuristic world, Almost Human premieres on Fox this Sunday, with episode two following the day after.
