Summer Splurge

Being a thifty fashionista is all well and good but every once in a while we need to let go and spend a little bit of our hard earned money, right? Cue McGinn’s $250 ‘Lily’ Floral Dress

Ideal for summer, this dress is right at the top of my “Must Have” list for this season. I love the bright colors and the neckline, not to mention the empire waist (I am obsessed with all things that are empire waisted). Having tried this dress on, I know that it  not looks uber stylish but is also extremely comfortable. It has an inner lining of tulle which gives it that perfect tulip shape and the empire waist does a perfect job of making your waist look every-so-tiny. The best part of this dress however, is the back -

The cross-shoulder straps, the bow and the fact that it has a hidden zipper just makes this divine dress all the more fabulous.
