Born out of frustration of an inability to find a stylish luxury, dress watch for everyday use, at the price of a great pair of shoes, bag or jacket, Sekford have produced their first edition of wristwatches, the Type 1A. From Port Magazine co-founder Kuchar Swara (creative director), watch designer Cédric Bellon and industrial designer Pierre Foulonneau, the Sekford Type 1A is available in four colourways, 200 in gold and 300 in stainless steel, all with a unique edition number. Inspired by classic English pocket watches, the pieces are Swiss-made, collaborating with Commercial Type to craft a new font for the watchface. The Sekford Type 1A watch is available for £695-£795 from their online store and select stockists in London:
