Hip shaving brand Harry’s have tasked Herman Miller to refurbish their New York City headquarters, producing an open-plan space any cutting edge tech company would be proud of. Office Envy: Adobe Campus

By Sam Bathe on 11 Jan 2013

Adobe have lost a bit of their sparkle over the last few years, and while Creative Suite is the go-to design software, the frailties of Flash Player hasn’t done them any favours. Design firm Rapt Studio were behind the reinvention, tasked to create a space that reflects innovation and dynamism, including a full-sized basketball court, gym, rock climbing wall plus the standard games room and cafeteria. Splashes of colour from Pantone give it an extra lease of life too. We’re jealous.

With the desks in simple lines rather than disruptive cubicles, much of the office is the expansive open space as its core, home to a table tennis table, a bunch of sofas and a couple of meeting rooms. The line between serious and playful is trodden with care and attention to detail, while the space maintains a suave feeling of sophistication throughout.
