Patagonia highlight Ramon Navarro’s mission to save the Chilean coast in docu short ‘The Fisherman’s Son’

An ode to surfing ambassador, Ramón Navarro, outdoor apparel brand Patagonia have collaborated with Save The Waves and filmmaker Chris Malloy to produce 30-minute short, The Fisherman’s Son. From a modest upbringing to the top of big wave surfing, Navarro has used his influence to build a new profile as an environmental activist and fight save his home break, Punta de Lobos, from the threat of huge corporate development. This vision to protect the culture and environment of the Chilean coast became his great goal, donate online to help the appeal:

Under their studio moniker mpgmb, artists and designers Marie-Pier Guilmain and Maud Beauchamp have created a new series of vases, pots and planters. Dubbed the Arizona Stoneware Collection, the rounded shapes and ribbed edges produce a striking look in both glazed stoneware and unglazed terracotta. Each piece a one-off, the collection spans low-profile pots to bulbus planters and sleek one-stem vases. Keep an eye on the mpgmb site for purchase details:

National Geographic’s Cheetahs On The Edge

Capturing cheetahs at full speed like you’ll have never seen before, using a Phantom camera filming at 1200 frames per second speeding alongside the gorgeous animals, National Geographic teamed up with the Cincinnati Zoo and a Hollywood film crew to produce this pretty extraordinary video.
