You shouldn’t be surprised Dieter Rams’ iconic 606 Universal Shelving System is more popular than ever. Introduced in 1960, the system builds upon a number of wall brackets, to which you can attached a near infinite number of shelving, cupboard and rail options, adaptable for all rooms of the house, even as an open cupboard. Director Jared Schiller explores the homes of two Vitsoe veterans as they explain why such a simple design has had such a great impact on their lives and their homes. With the 606 in my last flat, I have to say, Rams really nailed it.
