An edition of, wait for it, one, Shipley & Halmos’ Art Stool may well have sold out in the brief moments between writing this post and it going live. If you’re lucky enough that it hasn’t, then I’d advise snapping it up sharpish, despite the perhaps off-putting $245 pricetag. The gorgeous painted steel frame perhaps makes the Art Stool more of an ornament than a piece of daily furniture, but then that is kind of implied by the name. And it’s gorgeous too.
