Love them or hate them, the Eames Lounge Chair is one of the most iconic pieces of furniture design. Fast Company Design recently took a trip to the Herman Miller factories and their manufacturing partners around Zeeland, Michigan to see just how they’re made. It’s a process near identical to how the first chairs were made some 65 years ago; like going behind the scenes at Leica, this’ll just make you want one even more. $$$ pending.
