Wood is for losers right? That why Greg Hervieux, co-founder of BKRW, has teamed up with Atelier Antoine Palomares to produce short run of five 22 carat gold leaf skateboard. Priced at €1490, perhaps you wouldn’t have been taking them for a spin anytime soon, but seeing as they come with a plexiglass case to prevent damage and oxidisation, they seem to lack durability anyway. But then again, if you can afford to spend almost €1500 on a skateboard, you probably live a pretty carefree life already. In which case, can you buy us one?
