Installed in Tatton Park, a 16th-century estate in the heart of north-west England, Olivier Grossetete‘s Pont De Singe Bridge floats in the middle of a pond, supported by three massive helium balloons. With the gardens taking a new theme every Autumn, this year’s “Flight” has seen other artists painting UFOs and jets across the grounds, but it’s Grossetete that easily steals the limelight. Though visitors weren’t allowed to actually step foot on the bridge, Grossetete claims it could hold the weight of a person, though you’d have to swim out into the lake to try.
