Now a major player on the festival circuit, SXSW Film is one of the best places in the world to see confident, independant cinema, and truly original storytelling.

Stationed at cinemas across the city, including the landmark Paramount cinema and Alamo Drafthouse’s new Lamar location, badge-holders have access to all films on the bill, you just have to get in line to ensure a spot.

This year’s line-up is as ecclective and exciting as ever with Austinite Richard Linklater premiering his new film Everybody Wants Some, Orange Sunshine about the hippy group the Brotherhood of Eternal Love, drama Demolition starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Naomi Watts, first-person action film Hardcore Henry, Jeff Nicholl’s sci-fi thriller Midnight Special, indie comedy My Blind Brother starring Adam Scott, Nick Kroll, Jenny Slate and Zoe Kazan, plus a whole slew of Midnighter horrors, a short competition and TV premieres.

SXSW Film runs from March 11th-19th. Walk-up passes will be available from the Austin Convention Centre.
