The opportunity might have passed to get involved in the first iteration of Star Wars Uncut, but that doesn’t meant you shouldn’t be excited about the finished project. Dividing Star Wars: A New Hope into 15 second segments, they asked film fans to choose a sequence, reshoot it themselves, then send it over to them, before the Star Wars Uncut team compile all of the homemade clips for their own Star Wars movie.

Though all the segments have been taken they’re working on a way for more people to participate in the project while they wait for the videos to roll in. And whatever the final outcome, it’s sure to be better than the new trilogy.
