Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Joe Johnston’s classic The Rocketeer, and in memory of the late Dave Stevens, creator of the iconic character, animator John Banana (yes, apparently that’s his real name) has put together this wonderfully cute CGI short. The style is Pixar-central, but that’s fine by us, if anything, that the boy looks like a young Carl Fredricksen just makes it even better. We wouldn’t mind this turning into a feature-length creation.
