Short Film: A Day In The Life Of A Fire Lookout

A Marin County Fire Department volunteer lookout for two years, Gary Yost documents the “(usually) very peaceful life of a fire lookout” in the Gardner Lookout on the East Peak of Mt. Tamalpais. He has fallen in love with the mountain and peace it brings to the Bay Area, watching over, and sleep aside, the great peak. You can see why.
