Robert De Niro finds struggles to adjust to life in witness protection in France in ‘The Family’

From writer/director Luc Besson, the French filmmaker goes back to his action routes after recent directorial efforts The Lady, Arthur 3: The War of the Two Worlds, The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec as mafia leader Robert De Niro takes his wife and kids into witness protection in Normandy, France, after snitching on old allies. Needless to say, they struggle to adapt to their new life, and after causing something of a ruckus in town, it’s not long before faces from their old life start to appear again. The Family is out September 20th in the States, November 8th in the UK.
