One of the most fascinating Hollywood tussles to be exposed by last year’s Sony hack, it’s a minor miracle the Aaron Sorkin-penned Steve Jobs biopic is even going to make it to the screen. Changing stars and directors by the week, after Sony put the project in turnaround it was acquired by Universal, with Danny Boyle confirmed to direct and Michael Fassbender to star. Based on Walter Isaacson’s eponymous biography, Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels and Michael Stuhlbarg are also cast, with the film set backstage at three iconic product launches. Steve Jobs hits theaters October 9th.
