DreamWorks have released some promotional images of rising star Emma Stone (who can currently be seen in Easy A) in their forthcoming film The Help, an adaptation of Kathryn Stokett’s 2009 novel of the same name. Viola Davis plays a black maid who has spent her life raising white children and whose son has recently died. Stone plays Eugenia Phelan, who comes home to find that her childhood maid has disappeared. The film will be feature debut of director Tate Taylor, and is scheduled to be released some time in the second half of 2011. From these pics, it looks as though we’ll at least be provided with a wide variety of hairstyles.
