When we found out (500) Days Of Summer director Marc Webb was going to be helming the new Spider-Man reboot, boy did we get excited. But then we watched the trailer, and anticipation got a little nulled. That is one terrible first-person sequence, and the whole thing looks a little little like a poor man’s Mirror’s Edge, still, it’s the character stuff that Webb will have been brought in to bring life too, so hopefully the movie will adequetly redeem itself when it hits theatres on July 3rd, 2012. Or that Webb soon returns to indie rom-coms. That’ll do too.
