After the unconvincing trailer for Kim Jee-woon’s The Last Stand, it’s with relief that fellow South Korean director Park Chan-wook’s own English-language debut comes through with flying colours. Boasting all of the mystery and intrigue of his vengeance trilogy, Stoker sees India’s uncle Charlie comes to stay with her and mother Evelyn after her father dies in an auto accident. Only things aren’t as cut and dry as they seem. Stoker is out March 1st, 2013.
