Godzilla meets Real Steel does sound like the most potent of mixes for a movie plot, but when you find out it’s directed and co-written by Guillermo del Toro, it pulls some of the clout back. Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Rinko Kikuchi and Charlie Day star as earth must pilot seemingly obsolete gigantic robots to defend mankind and our planet when huge monsters rise out of the ocean.
