At long last we have a full-length trailer for Christopher Nolan’s much-anticipated new film, Interstellar. Starring Matthew McConaughey as a scientist who must make a journey through a wormhole to save mankind, as well as Jessica Chastain and Nolan regular Michael Caine, the new trailer gives a much greater sense of the arc of McConaughey’s character, and gives a glimpse of where the story might be headed. All information has been pretty closely guarded up to now, but the trailer gives just about the right amount away, while teasing bigger things to come, particularly with a very 2001-esque shot of a rotating space station. We’re very much looking forward to this one. Hopefully Nolan can find that mix of heart and spectacle that his best work has always had. Interstellar hits cinemas on November 7th.
