DVD Review: Tunnel Rats

A surprisingly effective and uncompromising, if wholly unoriginal war epic from video game franchise wrecker Uwe Boll. Set during the Vietnam War, the film charts the tribulations of a US combat unit sent to kill Viet Cong soldier in the endless tunnel beneath the war torn surface.

The action is powerful but the film is let down by resorting to gore to set it apart from other war epics.
