Engaging thriller as a seasoned ghost writer visits ex-British Prime Minister Adam Lang to complete his memoirs, only as he starts to delve into the ex-politician’s past, uncovers secrets about the Lang family and the demise of the previous writer. Competent from director Roman Polanski, if not his finest work by a long stretch, there’s enough intrigue and mystery to keep you involved even if it lacks the real punch it needs.
