Drama/thriller adapted BBC television series of the same name, State Of Play follows newspaper reporter Cal McAffrey as he investigates the paper trail following what seemed like the accidental murder of a congressman’s assistant.

As Cal uncovers the extent of what seemed like a fruitless conspiracy, his own life becomes in danger.

Though a lot is crammed into the two hour plot, State Of Play holds up well to the original show, excited and intelligent where other thrillers have fallen down.
