DVD Review: Punisher: War Zone

After a very promising reboot to the Punisher franchise a few years ago, sadly Punisher: War Zone is even worse than very first outing with Dolph Lundgren.

War Zone feels like it is desperately trying to clone The Dark Knight, twisted villain and all, but trades any depth or emotive narration for a 100 kills-a-minute action rate, and worst of all, you feel nothing for what should be a vigilante fighting for good.

This is probably the nail in the coffin for a franchise which as one point had a lot of potential.
