Starring Ben Schwartz (Parks & Recreation), I’m A Mitzvah sees a fish out of water, David, travel to rural Mexico to claim the body of his recently deceased friend. Only when his flight back to America is cancelled, David is left stranded overnight with his deceased friend and a pretty unique evening ahead of him. An emotional drama with moments of dark comedy, I’m A Mitzvah is a really impressive short from co-writer/director Ben Berman and proof Schwartz can do dramatic too.
