At this year’s SXSW, CNN iReporters and a team from Vimeo worked together to show their view of Austin’s annual festival, and some of the crazy figures that toll up along the way.

Sadly the last day of SXSW 2011, the sun was out in force for what is often the busiest (in terms of footflow in Austin) of the whole festival. More

Anyone who’s been to SXSW before will know that day three is the day you crash. More

A day before flying out to Austin we were hanging out in LA, and while lunching at The Counter caught sight of Jason Batemen chomping on a burger two tables across. It was a big deal. More

The start of SXSW proper, unofficial day shows were-a-plenty on the Wednesday, but we opted to see some old friends, and the recently resurgent, Eastern Conference Champions first. More

It’s taken a week to recover, and the jetlag still rears its head every 5am, but at last we’ve found a minute to document our trials and tribulations at this years SXSW, and it was a lot of fun. More
With our SXSW write-ups to come very soon indeed (thanks jetlag for the delay), first up check out on of the more chaotic events of last week’s SXSW, and something of a mini-riot at Death From Above 1979’s secret show at the Beauty Bar. With mace sprayed into the crown, and a police lady running up and down waving her taser around to keep the crowd back, at last the show was shut down, though some 15 minutes later when the band again too the the stage, so did the crowds, and it happened all over again. Oh how we love you, SXSW. Back next year for sure.

With a cold front landing on Austin, nevermind a little more unwanted rain, the SXSW crowd were a little taken a-back on the final day, but that didn’t mean the line-up was any less impressive, just the outdoor stages were a little more empty. The day show at Galaxy Room, however, was half indoor, and the inside stage boasted some of the best bands at the festival. More

The third day at SXSW is always the day you crash. Hungover, starved of sleep and energy and with ears that had to quickly get used to a hell of a lot of music, Thursday is always so hectic that on Friday you have to take it easy. More
