If ever there has been a pointless endeavour, it would be carrying bags. If wheels were invented for anything, it would be to wheel our bags, so we don’t have to carry them on our backs or over our shoulders. But don’t worry, because Creatures Of Comfort have you sorted. The Welcome Wagon No. 1 comes out of Laurel Broughton collection of projects, each is numbered and produced in a limited edition in Los Angeles, though we’re a little dubious about how much wear and tear it’ll take. Available in their LA or NYC stores, or via mail order.

Shot on sumptuously roughed up 8mm film, Warriors Of Radness‘ short for their new Marina Del Rey collection. Directed by Jack Coleman, it’s as much an ode to LA part of town as it is the clothes, which is fine by us.

I’ve never more wanted to be a three-year-old than now. Possibly the coolest coat a toddler could own, with a lion head hood, claw tipped sleeves and yarn tail and mane, it’s made of a golden yellow wool blend and fully lined for extra warmth. They can do custom size arms too. If you’re quick, you can grab one on Etsy here.

Persol’s popularity has risen exponentially of late, but they’ve always made quite the pair of frames. This model from the ’80s is amongst Giuseppe Ratti’s finest, boasting their patented ‘meflecto’ arm system and tweaked Persol arrows. Highly rare, they’re going for only €160.

Made in London, though probably not by co-founder Alison Lloyd herself, Ally Capellino’s Rocky wallets come in three gorgeous tanned leather variants and will ably hold all the cards, notes or loose change you need, the latter kept in check by a handy press stud. They’re £78, and come without a zip. Hurrah.

In a colour wonderfully named ‘bison chestnut’, Moore & Giles‘ Dillard Commuter ($660) is more than your average messenger. In a rich and durable leather, the bag offers up a zippered main compartment with a 53-inch adjustable strap, top handles and two exterior pouch pockets to boot. There’s a divider inside too.

Something close to a messenger bag but not quite, Yuketen’s Mailman is based on the bags used by the US Postal Service in the ’30s and ’40s, handmade from 100% natural American canvas with a brass closure buckle and nickel-plated copper rivets. It’s only available in “very limited numbers”, so that explains the £265 price tag.

Jack Spade’s lovely checked wallet Plaid Bill Holder will pocket your plastic in six card holders, with two pocket sleeves to boot and obviously somewhere for those notes. Apparently another bonus is that it’s imported too. Way to boost the struggling US economy. Although at only $85, it’s kind of a bargain.

First things first, all labels should shoot video to accompany their season line lookbooks. Secondly, they should all be as good as this. Wonderful by Bon Duke for Hyden Yoo’s A/W 2011 collection.

After featuring their 4th Hussard watch earlier this month, we just had to come back for more, and MARCH LA.B’s limited edition Shelby timepiece, paying homage to the EXP 500 ‘Green Hornet’ machine. We won’t bore wow you with the details, and instead just tell you they’re available for $1,500 for the 170 quantity version, and a more limited, automatic movement-toting model for $2,500.
