Beautifully directed by Máni M. Sigfússon, with a full-length album out later this year, Úlfur is one of the most excited names to look out for in 2012. Think James Blake, only not depressing, Black Shore is a slow-moving and artfully-crafted track that builds effortlessly before a thrilling conclusion. His stuff would be great as a film score.

Though on the whole their sophomore album proved massively disappointing, Justice at least turned in a couple of hits when Audio, Video, Disco landed last year. On’n'On might not be the best off it but a video for their new single pushes the boundaries at least. Directed by Alex Courtès, now a member of France’s wonderful Division collective.

His third single, The Morning sums up everything that’s so exciting about the solo project, a blend of electro and R’n'B. Directed by High5Collective. Get ready for an LP after the turn of the year.

The Town’s Rebecca Hall takes centre stage in James Blake’s cover of Joni Mitchell’s A Case of You, a track from Blake’s 2011 EP Enough Thunder. Directed by Seb Edwards. As ever it’s a very haunting and memorable effort.
