Their play on the traditional Duralex Picardie Glass, LORIS&#038;LIVIA&#8217;s Tipsy series saw the receptacles placed in a kiln at very high temperatures until reaching their melting point, each slowing deforming while still keeping a strong resemblance to their original form. Available from the LORIS&#038;LIVIA Boutique, nicely priced at £65 for six.

If you&#8217;re lucky enough that it hasn&#8217;t, then I&#8217;d advise snapping it up sharpish, despite the perhaps off-putting $245 pricetag. The gorgeous painted steel frame perhaps makes the Art Stool more of an ornament than a piece of daily furniture, but then that is kind of implied by the name. And it&#8217;s gorgeous too.</p>
