Exclusively partnering with IBM to bring back their 1960s 13.5″ Standard Issue Clock, Schoolhouse Electric & Supply Co. are bring the iconic product back with a perfect reproduction. Hand-assembled in Portland, Oregon and constructed from a USA-made spun steel case, domed glass lens and the original hands and faceplate design, while the second hand runs a continuous sweep. With a lead time of three weeks, the clock will set you back $235.

Folding with the same characteristics as paper, designer Lukas Dahlen managed to construct a pattern of his own out of sheet metal, reflecting light downwards, colour by the golden brass. His Ori Oendant lamps are equal in form and function, with immaculate attention to detail. Hopefully Lukas finds a great production partner soon.

The musings of Danish designer Finn Juhl, first crafted for his home in 1941, the Poeten Sofa was inspired by ‘free art’, with hand-sewn upholstery and a choice of timber for the legs. While the $11,000 pricetag might sound like a lot, for a piece like this it’s a snip, though will require a lead time of 16 weeks depending on your choice of finish.

Born from a fascination with the natural world and adventures in mountains and forests, Miscellaneous Adventures is a new project by illustrator and maker, Andrew Groves. A family of lamps “designed to adjust the mood of the room towards the smooth coolness typical of first class airport lounges,” Alberto Puchetti collaborated with Northern Lighting to produce the gorgeous Aerodome. An Italian architect and designer, Puchetti was inspired by the aerodynamic design of airplane engines and the iconic Scandinavian designers of the 1960s (Verner Panton, Arne Jacobsen, et al), and the results are really remarkable.

Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1967, Artemide bring new life to his glorious Eclisse table lamp. Available in three colours – orange, white and silver – you might think the name is a typo as the bulb housing spins to create an eclipse of the bulb, each painted metal and will set you back €130, the Eclisse is an icon without really realising it.
