With master’s degrees in both Industrial Design and Visual Communication, Norwegian designer Kristine Five Melvaer looks to explore how objects communicate. Her latest project, Liv, is a series of vases and torches made of mouth blown glass. Transparent to allow a full view of the flowers or contents in each vessel, some of the playful shapes boast a hood which embraces the content, while the others are reminiscent of a large tree that towers over the organic series.
